In partnership with Birthing Kits Foundation, Australia, HEDEN works with communities experiencing high rate of maternal and newborn mortality, by distributing Birthing Kits to pregnant women in hard-to-reach communities, Traditional Birth Attendants and community health centers. HEDEN integrated the Birthing Kit distribution into her Sweet Mother program in 11 community health Centers in Ifo and Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

HEDEN employs a variety of context-specific community-based strategies that engages the communities in health education in other to make lasting impact.
